A time before the moon?

Within the endless world of conspiracy theories, there is a strange one I encountered only recently and found fascinating. It says there was a time — when humans already populated the Earth — when there was no moon.

Let’s talk a bit about their claims.

Claim #1: There is no scientific explanation for the formation of the moon

This is not true. However, when reading about the moon's formation, I was surprised that there are different theories about how this closest celestial body came to be. And we must consider that the moon is the only place in space where humans have already landed and conducted scientific research! Six successful Apollo missions have brought 12 astronauts to the moon and back, with them 842 pounds (382 kilograms) of lunar rock and soil.
